About us

During my travels around the world, I've discovered many things that are beautiful, enjoyable, and enrich life back home in Germany. I'm particularly drawn to Latin America during my journeys, and what I've loved most are the Mexican woven hammocks, meticulously crafted by the Mayans who reside in Yucatan today. This is the first product I'm adding to my range.

What could be better than swaying comfortably in a hammock, with the sun shining and a gentle breeze, while sipping on a delicious cocktail by your side? And when it comes to cocktails in Central and South America, rum is the top choice. Hence, I'll gradually be introducing various types of rum into my selection.

I don't offer a complete assortment, only things that I personally enjoy and can genuinely recommend. I exclusively offer Mexican woven hammocks, and specifically in incredibly comfortable and spacious sizes. While other hammocks are also lovely, in my view, Mexican ones are the best in the world—airy, incredibly sturdy, and particularly comfortable due to their perfect adaptation to body shape.

I offer high-quality hammocks from a small family business near Merida/Yucatan. Undoubtedly, the best hammocks in all of Mexico come from around Merida. I provide hammocks with a cotton thread lying surface. These are the most comfortable and skin-friendly. I don't offer the smaller sizes like "Individual/single" or "doble/double," even though they might be more affordable. "Individual" sizes are, in my opinion, too small for Europeans. "Doble" sizes would work, but the real wow effect comes with the even larger sizes "Matrimonial" and "Familiar."

Regarding rum, I don't have an exhaustive assortment with hundreds of different varieties. Instead, I offer select types of rum. I started with a few varieties, each of which I have a unique connection with in some way. Currently, I'm expanding my range to include various higher-quality varieties not commonly found on every supermarket shelf.

In addition, I offer specific types of tequila, specifically the very tasty, yet mostly unknown in Germany, 3-12 months aged reposado tequila, which is rightfully the most popular in Mexico.

Of course, taste is subjective. Nonetheless, I hope my selection brings joy to you and everyone.
